Stunning Baby Girl {Durham Not-So-Newborn Photographer}

This might be my favorite post in a while… first, I get to introduce you all to this stunning beauty!  Second, I get to share with you my first newborn shoot with a newborn over 14 days old.  Sweet Nia is my oldest to date at 5 weeks old!  I had no idea what we’d capture or how she’d do but she rocked it!!  Didn’t get any of my usual, naked poses but these wrapped shots have me drooling… WOW!  She is just gorgeous!  I am so grateful to this family for allowing me into their home to capture such a precious moment in time for them.  Nia makes another special girl in this family a big sister and she’ll be so lucky to have such an awesome person to look up to!  Enjoy every moment with your sweet bundle of joy…

I’ve decided the greatest thing about 5 week olds… the eye contact!!  Absolutely stunning.

While Nia was a rockstar and I’m always up for photographing any age, if you are considering newborn photos it is important to book while you are still pregnant.  That way we can have the details worked out and I can come photograph your new addition within the first 10-12 days of life when they are still sleepy, curled up in that little fetal position, and easy to pose.  🙂
