12 Days New {Cary Newborn Photographer}

I had the JOY of meeting this brand new family of three- and instantly felt the love flowing through their home for their little bundle of pure perfection. I adored how mom was in apparent amazement at the miracle she recently witnessed… umm.. performed. And if she’s like most of us moms, she’ll continue to be amazed. Do we ever get over the miracle our children are? As we talked about how crazy it is that we make these little people inside our bodies, mom put it perfectly when she said, “She has eyeballs! Where did they come from?!” Lol. It really is that incredible. And if you want to truly understand the beauty this mom is adjusting to, take a look at her….

This shot was from Attempt #1. 🙂 She was… lets say… resistant to sleep!! Not much posing occurred, as she would wake with the slightest disturbance. I have never seen a newborn fight sleep SO hard! Turned out she was hungry BUT when on a full belly, she is quite the rock star at sleeping and just the most content, laid-back little lady a photographer could ask for. Oh, and a tip for her parents when she is fighting the urge to drift into la-la-land… stroke her nose. Worked like a charm! 🙂
