I haven’t blogged since before Christmas (yikes!) if that shows you good I am at sitting in front of the computer longer than I have to… but today is my birthday and I am choosing to spend the free hour I have today BLOGGING!! But if you glance below before you finish reading, you will quickly see why I am feeling so inspired today. I have the honor and privilege as a Holly Springs family photographer to spend an hour or so with this ADORABLE and SWEET family every spring. I cherish my time catching up with them at every opportunity and can’t believe how fast children really do grow. I always love the pastel wardrobe mom pulls together and how the colors pop and make each photograph come alive. Many people designate fall as their go-to season for family pictures but there is something about the green in spring that I love. And when you have a family with children who engage with you and interact as warmly with each other it makes my job simply a joy. At one point I told the older two to tell each other a joke- and it worked! They started telling jokes and laughing at each other and giggling like only children can do. It was as if I wasn’t there, which make for special, intimate moments captured. I love posed family pictures, but oh the pure bliss in candid images captured is so much more priceless.
