Holly Springs Maternity Photographer

As a Holly Springs maternity photographer, you never know what the weather will hand you on the day of a session. In fact, even on the drive to this session the sun was out and it was beautifully sunny. Before I was parked, the sun had disappeared behind some dark storm clouds and didn’t make an appearance again until just before we left. These top two photos show how gloomy the weather was for most of our time together. It began to rain and we packed up to head out. At this particular location, you have to walk quite a ways from where you leave your car. Dad headed back with the kids but while we were walking, the sun made a drastic appearance before setting again for the night. I was so glad this mama was willing to withstand the sprinkling rain for some of these to-die-for shots!! But it didn’t stop there… we turned and looked the other direction to find a rainbow. While this is not a rainbow baby (a baby born after miscarriage or infant loss), these images are definitely dedicated to all those who have gone through the experience of bringing joy into the world after a storm. Stacy and I have collaborated on many cake smash sessions as she is the face behind One Sweet Tooth, my preferred vendor for cake smash cakes. She is just so darn talented and makes the most adorable creations for our sessions!
