Okay, so lately it’s been snowy (more like icy) days here in North Carolina but this is still some great indoor fun for rainy days too! In fact if you have a child who likes to craft, you MUST know about ALEX Craft Kits. They have paper bag monsters, pop stick art, paper tube ocean creatures, clothespin farm animals, paper plate bugs, tissue paper art, mosaic sticker posters, and the list goes ON and ON. When you open a craft kit box, you will find each individual project in its own sealed bag with everything you need for that item. (See my daughter showing you this below). The occupational therapist in me LOVES the visual step-by-step directions the kit provides children to follow. Work on visual attention, sequencing, fine motor skills, ideation/creativity, and visual perceptual skills all at once! Plus once you’re done, if your kids are like mine, you will be sitting through a puppet show watching their imaginations grow and feeling thrilled (and momentarily successful) as a mother. 🙂

And what better way to end a craft activity on a rainy day than with a fun snack of waffles with rainbow sprinkles? 😉
Hope you enjoyed this post on indoor fun for rainy days! Stay a while and take a look around. 🙂
