Lillian’s First Hour {Raleigh-Durham Birth Photographer}

I’ve never had the honor of being invited to anyone’s birth before, so I can’t even tell you what it meant to me to have my dearest friend in all the world ask me to be there for the birth of their long-awaited little girl.  I can’t believe that after all these years, we really have become family and this experience nailed that home for me maybe more than any other.  What a private, emotional, intimate occasion… just mom, dad, baby… and me 🙂  Unfortunately, I didn’t actually make it there for Lillian’s arrival as mom barely made it to the hospital.  She was not even admitted (still in triage) and quite literally had her sweet baby over the toilet.  🙂  I LOVE all of Steph’s birth stories (this is #3) but my goodness it doesn’t get any better than that!  What an entrance this incredible soul made, and I’m pretty sure she’s only getting started… can’t wait to watch this beautiful girl grow.  Love her so much.  xoxo
