Raleigh Cake Smash

Raleigh cake smash photography is one of my favorites, especially when it involves little girls and lots of things pink. This session was so much fun, and I’m so glad Miss London thought so too! She’s like a little rock star in some of these images! I get excited when they dive into their cake and really enjoy it, which is not always the case. I usually explain to my eager parents who are waiting to see their little babe jump into their cake, that their vision may or may not happen. Many (most??) of my babies are very tentative and reluctant to get that icing all over. As a pediatric occupational therapist, sensory or tactile-defensiveness is nothing new to me. The fun is watching some of my babies get over this hesitation as soon as they taste that sugary sweetness! <3
