Raleigh Durham Baby Photographer {Marcel}

I consider myself blessed as a Raleigh Durham baby photographer when my clients return with siblings. I first met Melissa and Eslier for their maternity portraits a few weeks before taking sweet Mariah’s newborn photos.  I was so thrilled when they contacted me again back in May with news of their second on the way- and it was a boy! Part of my excitement in photographing a sibling is of course seeing the baby I met years before as a toddler.  Mariah had changed so much and was full of spunk and charm. And her brother?  Check out this cuteness!!  You can definitely tell they are related and share some identifical features, but I think he has his own little (and adorable) look about him. As gorgeous as he was, he was also pretty persistent in NOT allowing me to photograph him.  Two hours into our session, I had not snapped even one shot. He was perfectly content to be awake or maybe drift off in someone’s arms but as soon as an attempt was made to put him down, he would have no part of it. Fortunately, I called in for backup and my dear friend Kristel came right over to help soothe this little one into a deep sleep. Luckily for me, not only is she a friend and neighbor, but she is also the owner of Toppled Turtle, a newborn prop vendor who makes adorable things for baby sessions such as this one!
