Spring has sprung! {Raleigh Family Photographer}

I will be honest; mini-sessions are not my favorite thing ever.  I love creating individual, personalized sessions for my clients that are completely customized based on their vision.  Throughout our time together I get to know them and their kids and it’s a low-pressure, relaxed experience.  *Hopefully* that’s my experience for my mini-session clients too (!!) but for me, I realize I have a very short time to build rapport with the little people and try my hardest to build in a lot of variety into a quick session.  And I always feel like I’m saying such a short good-bye while simultaneously welcoming the next folks.

That all being said,  I think this past weekend went REALLY well and I am super happy with the location we chose.  Soooo pretty!!  This family was my first up– I just loved their sweet little Sloane, who gave me some sweet smiles at the end (just about the time we’d be all warmed up in a normal shoot, lol!)  She did great though and mom & dad did too 🙂  It was wonderful meeting you, A Family and hope to see you again in the future (keep me in mind for baby #2 should there ever be one… wink, wink)!
